AI Sessions is out in beta!
Big one for us: AI Sessions just landed on Windmill. Agentic AI over your whole workspace, provider-agnostic: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, whatever you've configured.
Until now, AI in Windmill worked one item at a time: you created a script or a flow, and the AI helped you edit it. Sessions flip that.
The conversation drives the whole workspace: one session can write a script, wire it into a flow, put an app on top of a data table, creating and connecting items as it goes with full context (your scripts, flows, apps, resources, data tables and their schemas). It runs what it builds to check it actually works.
Some things we think you'll like:
Nothing lands without you. Everything the AI does is a draft. The edits bar shows exactly what the conversation touched, and you diff, deploy or discard item by item.
Fork + session = a full dev pipeline, without the git. Give a session its own workspace fork: it builds in an isolated copy, prod stays untouched, and changes merge back through a PR-style review. That's dev to review to prod, accessible to people who would never touch a terminal.
Run a bunch of agents at once. Each session is its own agent with its own conversation, tabs and fork. Fire up a few, let them work in parallel, review each one separately. Close the tab, come back tomorrow, they're all still there.
It's on by default during the beta.
