SSo AgGrid is pretty complicated, but also supports a lot of usecases.
But the normal Table component is getting quite good. Have you tried it?
If you just want to list your db table then it works great. If you describe what use cases you want to have, then I can try to give you a better answer on what the best solution could be

Syeah, the resizing of the columns would have been sweet.
It's prop the biggest feature that is wanted on the table component now. I tried to see If I could make it work with the "initial state" added just a few days ago, but seems like there is a bit more to do then just set
The ag-grid is complex but it's also complex becuase it support a lot of use case. I think what you want to do is "quite simple" in the ag-grid enterprice version, but my experience is that the normal ag-grid version is nto that great with selects. .
The normal table has a select button you can add on the end and you can connect it with a records from your database. Not sure you can connect it so you get data from that row... then you need to be able to use the selectedRowIndex... hmm. do not think that's possible as of today.
yeah, I would maybe not recommend doing this inside the app builder for windmill, at least no yet. it's so annoing getting 90% there but missing a small but important feature or two.

SNo, i'm not that into other no tools solution, and not familiar enought with your usecase to give a proper advice. What about just using gsheet? It's amazing what you can do with it, and now with chatgpt you can just ask to do all the formulas for you.

If you can live with the column resizing issue, I'm quite sure you will be pleasantly surprised how good windmill is and how fast it's moving. I'm quite sure it will be fixed after a while. More ppl will def. asked for it, and Ruben is always taking feedback.
