Is it allowed to embed windmill (self-hosted) in my products?
I have some public side projects, and I want to confirm if I can use embedded windmill (self-hosted) as an admin panel for users of these projects? Or, what would be the alternative?
Thanks!

Yes you can
Great to know!
I just found a topic about White Labeling (https://discord.com/channels/930051556043276338/1139507832945918002), and some messages in the topic about "external users".
Would this issue with external users occur if someone tried to offer their own windmill under a different brand?

And another question: is it possible to serve the self-hosted Windmill (using the Windmill brand itself) to clients (each as a workspace) and operate as an agency for automations, integrations, and internal tools for companies?
If you give them access to their workspace then I would tend to say we're not super comfortable with that setting
We're more comfortable with you setup windmill on their vpc and you act as a consultant on their instance, but what you describe above sound very much like reselling windmill as a service which would not be within the license
right....
my main goal now is try windmill.dev embed in my own projects. so, it seems to be ok and expected. 🙂
good rule of thumb, if you're making money with windmill then you need the commercial license
it makes sense. Is there any plan to have an affiliate/partners program in paid/commercial plans? This way, maybe it could be a win-win for referrals in the case of agencies and consultants.
Like a revenue-sharing sytem ?
We could probably give back 20% of every contract that came with a specific promo code or something
or something llike 40% of the revenues the first year
these seem like good options. are there already partners experimenting with this model?
not yet but let's chat if things get more concrete since it's a bit heavy to setup.. I'm open to the idea and we can certainly find an arrangement when it gets to that
Sure, great. I don't have anything concrete yet, but it was good to explore the possibilities while I build a stronger connection with the tool.
Any news about the affiliate program? It would be good to have a signup link that would retribute a percentage of people subscription the affiliate brought in (see https://www.make.com/en/help/general/affiliate-program)
