Need Help with Cursor and Windmill MCP Connection
I've connected Cursor to my Windmill MCP server but it's not working. When I try to run tasks, I get errors. Can you help me fix this?

Plz help
we can't read that screenshot , can you copy paste the error messages?
now i can send a good photo

1. when you created an URL did you select "Favorites only" or "All scripts/flows" ?
2. do you have any scripts in your workspace (or "starred" scripts in your workspace)?

1) all scripts/flow 2) i have 2

Can you try:
1. disconnecting + reconnecting in Cursor
if that doesn't work
2. regenerating the mcp url
look

Hi ! Looks like you didn't deploy your scripts 😅
ah lol, good catch @centdix974
Hi
@Draculer_zion you need to click => edit, then deploy (top right)
But i do It many times
yeah, it was because the scripts were not deployed
Ok
Let me know if you still have issues but that should solve it

I don't know why but it doesn't work, or I clicked on edit then on paste I configured the MCP but it doesn't work, I'll also send you a photo of what it tells me.
just to be sure did you disconnect reconnect with the little toggle the mcp after deploying your scripts ?
Yes
Initially there was 1 tool, but when I disconnected and reconnected, it disappeared, even after changing the token and adding another script. It still shows 0.

Is Python necessary for the connection?

no not necessary, can you show me what you have in the mcp logs here ?

you can do ctrl+shift+p > open logs > mcp logs to show them, or from the output tab in a terminal inside vs code
ok

looks like there is no error it's just not catching your scripts, can you try putting in favorites the scripts you want on the windmill interface and disconnect reconnect ?
you can click the little star beside each script row on the homepage
its the same

i mean from here

sorry I misunderstood, but now that I've put the star on my flow, it's appeared on cursor

The connection still doesn't work. When I send a prompt asking it to create a flow/script in my Windmill MCP workplace, I find nothing in Windmill.
Right now you can only use the MCP to run your existing scripts or flows, not create them. What you can try is ask Cursor something like "Run the script for sending a mail from windmill". Make sure to give explicit summaries to your scripts and flows (from their settings after clicking on edit) so the AI easily finds which script you are asking for
Thanks for the information, but in the future do you plan to allow the IA via MCP to create workflows?
@Draculer_zion even better. Neuralink connection so you won't have to lift a finger.
Could you elaborate so I understand better?
