AI Agents steps allow you to integrate AI agents directly into your Windmill flows. They provide an interface to connect with various AI providers and models, allowing you to process data, generate content, execute actions (Windmill scripts), and make decisions as part of your automated workflows.

SQL Result Collection
In the next release, you will be able to choose what is returned from your SQL scripts, which will simplify your flows when passing data between nodes.

SQL scripts will now return only the last statement by default. In order to be retro-compatible, a migration will prepend the following to all your SQL scripts :

For security reasons, all public apps on the multi-tenant cloud will be hosted under public.windmill.dev instead of app.windmill.dev (avoid being able to try to run unwanted apis with your credentials). We will make it mandatory next week and do an auto-redirection. In the meantime, you can test that everything still work as expected by replacing app.windmill.dev with public.windmill.dev for your public apps

Workspace Dependencies

Centralized dependency management at the workspace level for shared dependency files across scripts/flows/apps.

New features

Centralized dependency management with shared dependency files stored in /dependencies directory.
Support for Python, TypeScript (Bun), and PHP with language-specific annotations.
Two dependency modes: requirements mode (explicit) and extra mode (hybrid with inference).
Dependency file versioning and provenance tracking with Git sync support coming soon.
CLI integration for managing workspace dependencies alongside scripts and flows.
Creation of workspace defaults will redeploy all existing runnables for given language!
